Questions people ask before they book.
Where are you licensed?
Virginia, Wisconsin, Texas, and New York. You need to be located in one of those states during our sessions.
Do you see clients in person?
No. The practice is telehealth only, over a secure video platform.
How long is a session, and what does it cost?
Sessions are 45 minutes and $250. The first 15-minute consultation is free.
Do you take insurance?
I am paneled with some insurance plans in Virginia and Wisconsin. Reach out to see if I am in your plan's network. In New York and Texas I am out of network, and I provide superbills so you can use out-of-network benefits if your plan has them.
Is there a sliding scale?
For gender-affirming letters of support, yes: $0 to $50, you choose. Individual therapy is $250 per session.
Can I get a letter of support without being your therapy client?
Yes. Letters are usually one 45-minute video appointment, and the finished letter is ready within a week at most.
How soon can we start?
Book the free consultation at any open time in the calendar. If we fit, we schedule an intake from there.
Who are you not the right fit for?
People whose main concern is an eating disorder, active mania, or active psychosis, and anyone who needs support staying safe between sessions. Telehealth has limits, and I would rather help you find the right care than the wrong fit.
What if I am in crisis right now?
Call or text 988, the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, or use the numbers on the resources page. If you are in immediate danger, call 911.
Do I need a diagnosis to start?
No. We begin with your story and what you want to change.
